Oops, I Forgot!

You know it happens...you are heading to the grocery store to pick up a few items and upon entering the store you realize that the list is at home!  You do your best to recall everything on the list but one seemly small item is forgotten.  Of course when you get back home that is when it hits you and you remember the seemly small item is  really one of the main ingredients for tonight's dinner!

This Week- The Living Room

What to tackle:
1.) Dust where walls meet ceiling & walls meet baseboards.  We like to spray painted baseboards with Brightly Green Multi-Purpose Cleaner and then wipe them down. If your baseboards are stained wood, spray a cloth with Brightly Green Wood Floor Cleaner and then wipe down baseboard trim.

2.) Ceiling fans/light fixtures:  Use Brightly Green Multi-Purpose Cleaner to wipe down fan blades.  Remove glass lamp bowls and clean with Brightly Green Dish Wash and warm water or spray inside of bowl with Brightly Green Multi-Purpose Cleaner and wipe clean.

3.) Curtains:  Remove and wash with Brightly Green Laundry Wash, If you prefer, have them sent to the cleaners. For medium to heavy tapestries vacuum with the hose attachment.

4.) Blinds:  Clean both sides with Brightly Green Multi-Purpose Cleaner. 

5.) Windows:  Wipe both sides of screen with Brightly Green Multi-Purpose Cleaner.  Clean windowsills and window tracks with the multi-purpose cleaner.  Wipe down both sides of windows with Brightly Green Glass Cleaner.

6.) Bookshelves & Entertainment Center:  Remove books/movies etc.and dust shelving with Brightly Green Wood Floor Cleaner.  Spray a cloth with Brightly Green Glass Cleaner and wipe TV off.

7.) Furniture:  Vacuum and spot clean with Brightly Green Carpet & Upholstery Spot Remover.  Be sure vacuum cleaner bag is new and you have a hepa filter installed.

8.) Vent fixtures:  Remove and wipe down with cloth & Brightly Green Multi-Purpose Cleaner.  Keeping vents clean allows air flow to circulate more efficiently.

9.) Artificial plants:  Wipe down leaves with a cloth dampened with Brightly Green Multi-Purpose Cleaner.  If possible do this outdoors so as not to stir up dust inside your home.  Did you know that indoor houseplants help clean the air within your home?  They act as an air filter.  Maybe you will want to swap out your artificial houseplants for the real deal!

Finish cleaning the room as you normally would!
