Pet Cookie Recipe
From: Edie--Care Paws
Pumpkin/Sweet Potato Treats
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup powdered milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup mashed sweet potatoes or pumpkin mix
1/4 cup beef broth
Preheat oven to 350. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper (or lightly oil the cookie sheet). Mix all dry ingredients, then add the moist ingredients and slightly mix. Dust hands with flour and knead the dough until well mixed, spread dough (by hand) on floured surface to 1/4 - 1/2 inch thickness. Flour knife and cut into pet bite-sized pieces and place on cookie sheet.
Bake 25-30 minutes or until slightly browned. Remove tray and cool on rack. Store in a tightly sealed container.
