Getting Green for Independence Day!

With the Fourth of July just a few days away , get motivated with some family fun, eco-friendly projects to do with your kids for the Fourth!

 
Quick Green Party décor ideas:

Festive tablecloth:  Use a white linen tablecloth and basket-weave wide blue and red ribbons across it.  (Launder ribbons and table cloth with Brightly Green Laundry Wash when finished)

Repurposed Mason Jars:  Get three mason jars and paint the first one blue with white stripes, paint the (Wash the jars prior to painting with Brightly Green Hand Dish Wash)



Quick & Easy Festive Foods:

Crisp Rice cereal treats:   Make the treats as normal and cut into the shape of stars.  Insert wooden stick

Flag kabobs:   Using a wooden skewers, insert blueberries, strawberries and bananas unto the skewers in a way to create a flag pattern.  Prepare shortly before serving as to keep bananas as fresh as possible. (You can dip the bananas in lemon juice to help preserve them.)
 

*Remember—before firing up the grill—green clean the wire racks and BBQ utensils with Brightly Green All-Purpose Degreaser and Brightly Green Hand Dish Wash.  (Remove wire racks to clean)
