“What!” you
say, “give her nothing?!”
That’s right! Moms like to be with their families. It’s about TIME spent TOGETHER.
So dads and
children, on Mother’s Day do what mom likes to do. If your wife is a mother with preschoolers
and or younger children in the home, perhaps she would appreciate some time to
herself. Take the kids off her hands for
a while so she can get some much needed rest.
Perhaps mom
loves to go to the park, then go to the park as a family. Make it a day event.
She wants to
be recognized as important to you, and the main way you can demonstrate that is
by giving mom what she needs most.
Also, free
mom up from having to do ANY chores. Let
the kids make her breakfast in bed. Then
have them clean up the kitchen. Give mom
a break, so she can completely enjoy herself!
Believe me, this will be appreciated (take it from a mom!).
I personally
love to cook and bake, but having a day completely off would be a gift to me. You know what your wife needs most, husbands,
so get the kids organized and make a plan to treat mom right! Remember, it’s called Mother’s DAY—not Mother’s
Hour!
