"Round 2" of artic cold air is sweeping much of
the U.S. keeping many folks tightly shut indoors. Our toleration of temperatures is interesting
when seen on Facebook posts. My southern
friends are freezing in 20-30 degree weather whereas that would feel like a
heat wave in my state! Those in the
Dakotas—how do you survive?
No matter where you live, being sequestered indoors poses
health risks from an unlikely source—namely disinfectants. We fear the spread of germs because of our
close encounters with people so we combat that fear with the use of
disinfectants.
I believe the word "disinfectant" when attached to
a cleaning product, or hand soap is really an oxy-moron…
