Green Your Vacation!

Living green should follow us anywhere we go.  Whether RV-ing or roughing it by tenting,  more than likely you will still have at least pots & pans to clean-up after cooking on the camp cook stove or over the open fire pit; so don't leave behind your Brightly Green Dish Wash.

Mom, Dad, are we there yet??

As a parent, we love to hear that question when we have been on the road for 20 minutes and we have six hours to go!!  Interact with your kids, don't just pop in a DVD into the player!



Remember any of these car games??

• Alphabet game--family members work their way through the alphabet by looking at signs along the road and finding (in order) the letters of the alphabet.  The first person to get through the alphabet wins!  (variation:  work as a team to find the letters)
• License plate-state game:  See who finds the most states represented by passing cars in a given amount of time.
• "Name That Tune":  One person hums or whistles a tune and everyone else tries to guess the name of that tune".
• Guessing Games:  You can guess anything from animals to movies/TV shows, historical figures or sports celebrities
• Travel board games:  there are many various board games--turned into travel games.

If you still want some techie time; try Apple's app "Roadtrip Bingo"--for iPad or iPhone. 

Remember, you don't have to leave your green lifestyle behind, take living all-natural, green clean with you on the road!!  (Great for clean-ups in the car!!)
