This week, plan out the menu for your Thanksgiving meal. 
Here are a few checklist tips...
First:  Ask particular guests to bring a dish if possible.  (We all have favorite dishes that particular family members make.)

Second:  Line out your menu for the meal.  Be sure to list every type of dish you would want to have even if it is one that someone else is bringing. Knowing the items you need ahead of time helps you make less trips to the grocery and alerts you to key sales!

Third:  When making your purchases--think eco-friendly!  Try to do all of the following:  buy local, organic and in bulk.  This makes you a conscientious, eco-friendly shopper plus buying in bulk is usually cheaper.

Fourth:  Cook or bake ahead of time if possible.  Some dishes turn out fine when prepared in advanced and then frozen.
