Turn Dreams Into: Mission Accomplished!

"Our lives are not defined by the things we possess.  Our live are defined by the things we pursue."

If you could see yourself one, three, five, even ten years from now, what you like to have accomplished?  What dreams and aspirations do you have? Would accomplishing these dreams or wishes enrich your personal life or grow your business?  If you see them as enhancements, what may be holding you back from those dreams becoming a reality?

Four Roadblocks to Fulfilling Your Dreams:

1. Schedules so full there is no room for accomplishing dreams.
This is a sad reality as our schedules can be so jam-packed with no room for margins that allow for space to begin achieving our dreams.

2.  A Dream List that is too long might not even get off the ground.
If this roadblock describes where you are at, pick out the top five dreams you would like to do and number them according to their priority.  Look back over those five and determine this, "If I could only do two out of the five, which would I choose?"  Focusing on one or two only gives needed perspective for launching out.

3. Giving in to the urgent over the important can block our dreams.
A friend of mine, who has a family-run organic farm, shared with me not too long ago about her frustration of spending so much time "putting out fires" as she called them.  These "fires" are the urgent pop-up projects that surprise us and scream out for our attention.  If you know you are prone to urgent demands popping up, creating margin in your schedule will help allow for that time when those unexpected urgent demands or "fires" come up.

4.  Not establishing "Finish By" dates can drag out our dreams indefinitely.
People often like to plan "Start By" dates, but in reality, a "Finish By" date makes better sense.  Knowing when we desire to have our particular dream/wish completed by, then becomes the gage for beginning the dream/wish.

We know you are a busy business-minded individual seeking to grow your green business.  Don't forget to take care of yourself in the process. Part of that care is found in accomplishing your dreams!
