Get a Green Clean Pantry for the Holidays!

It's that time of year when we ramp up our baking and cooking.
Are you beginning to make preparations for the holidays?

Now is the time to get ready before the holiday season really picks up momentum!

Save expense by first going through your pantry and cleaning it out!  You will know exactly what you have and need to purchase.  This will save you time and money!

Get Your Pantry In Shape-- It's Simple:

Use Brightly Green Multi-Purpose Cleaner on interior shelves for a non-toxic clean.  Spray the shelves and wipe.

Visit:  Brightly Green Store for all your green clean needs!  Shipping specials going on now!

As you remove and sort out supplies,
make a list of items you find that you are out of or low on.

Are there items in your pantry that you have not used (canned goods or boxed goods) that you would be willing to dontate to a local food bank, city mission, church, or women's shelter?  Consider making a donation--this would benefit someone else while creating space for holiday baking/cooking supplies!

Maybe you could even begin a food-drive in your neighborhood!

Pantry Restocking:

Suggestions for saving money:

BUY BULK:  If you have the storage capacity--buying in bulk is usually beneficial.  Look for bulk food stores, co-ops, farmers' markets in your area and check them out.

Perhaps you can go in on some items with a friend or family member?  My daughter-in-Iaw shops at a bulk food store where flour and sugar can be purchased in 50 pound bags at much lower costs.  Often spices can be bought in bulk too--which is very helpful considering the cost of spices in your local grocery store.

If you started an HG Labs Holiday Notebook last year, take a look back through it and see what holiday recipes you definitely what to use this year.  Make a list of the ingredients you will need so you can plan ahead and get the supplies ahead of time.

Would you like to begin a holiday organizer?  We can get you started on a Green, Holiday Organizer Guide.  This is a wonderful tool to reduce holiday stress, saving you time and money!!
